Wildflower Meadow Work Day

Spring Planting Day in the Wildflower Meadow!

The Nichols Park wildflower meadow is home to native species of plants.

Volunteers are essential to its maintenance, so come help us weed, water, and put new plants into the ground.
You might end up learning a little bit about the native species of plants that thrive in our neighborhood! And making a friend along the way.

Meet in the wildflower meadow on East 54th St. at the end of the cul-de-sac between Kenwood and Kimbark Avenues. It is a small space and easy to find us. Dress in clothing appropriate for working in brush, including close-toed shoes. Tools and gloves will be provided, or bring your own if you prefer. For more information and to RSVP, email Community Stewards Dan Brown djpbrown@yahoo.com or Dave White at dmwhite01@yahoo.com.
