It's Your Park Day @ Nichols Park
We kick off our volunteer season with It's Your Park Day on Saturday, June 3rd from 10 AM - 1 PM. Community volunteers will pick up litter, support park green spaces, and participate in any additional activities provided by the host. Free & family friendly. Complimentary clean-up supplies are provided.
Sunflower Planet will provide an educational presentation about organic mammoth sunflowers and phytoremediation. We will also plant sunflower seeds and have a seeds giveaway.
Complimentary gloves & clean-up supplies are provided. This event is also available for volunteer credits.

2) Show up safely! Clean-up supplies will be onsite for all events, you can do your part by coming prepared. We strongly encourage long pants, closed toed shoes, sun protection, bug protection, bringing your own reusable water bottle, wearing the provided protective gloves and avoiding hazardous materials such as glass, needles, and germs.

This event is rain or shine. Please come dressed for the weather (sun, bugs, and all!)
